Natasha Munasinghe – Chief Executive Officer at FRANK Education will outline learnings from project collaboration across disciplinary contexts. Technology tools for virutal learning experiences will be showcased and insights for optimising student engagement and recruitment shared.

Practera:
Suzy Watson – Co-founder and WA state Lead at Practera and Linda Riebe Lecturer and UC at ECU will deliver an overview of implementing a project-based WIL experience, both virtually and face-to-face, as part of a Bachelor of Commerce capstone unit. The project was the Global Trade Accelerator program, delivered in partnership with Practera. We consider the fully online experience for both students and academic staff, including key benefits and challenges, during the COVID-19 period.

Ben Kramer and Alyssa Petrofes are two accredited exercise physiologists who form part of the teaching team for the Masters of Clinical Exercise Physiology at UWA. Working within a health field that is predominantly practiced in a face to face setting, they will provide an overview of how their clinical education team rapidly adapted to provide exceptional WIL opportunities to students undergoing their final year of study to become accredited exercise physiologists. They will consider the fully online experience for both students and clinical education staff, including key benefits, opportunities, and challenges, and limitations, during the COVID-19 period.
