Supporting students while on WIL

This infographic highlights questions host organisations can ask students (with and without a disability) before, during, and after the WIL experience. The aim of the questions is to help host organisations, and students, to better understand the student’s needs, expectations, things that are working well and things that may need tweaking or be changed.

This document is for host organisations thinking of hosting a student with disability on a WIL experience. Our research showed that host organisations are not sure if they are ready and/or have the capacity to host a student with disability. The points in this document highlight areas that need to be considered by the host organisation and/or developed if needed.
