Work-integrated learning (WIL), as a pedagogical practice, is a complex interaction of student learning in, and through, partnership with industry, community, business, and the university. This framework has been developed based on a definition of WIL as student experiences of work within curriculum, undertaken in partnership, through engagement with authentic and genuine activities for the industry, business or community partner, which are assessed.
