Developing employABILITY as metacognition: Opportunities for learning, teaching and research
HERDSA Roadshow March – April 2018
These workshops will engage participants in a personalised self-assessment profile and the resources and strategies with which to embed employABILITY within existing programs and courses. Workshops will suit teachers, program leaders, curricular designers, senior managers and careers advisors. No prior expertise or experience is required.
Participants will gain:
Access to the online self-assessment profile tool for students;
Resources, ready to embed into a learning management system (LMS) or unit/module outline;
Career stories to share with students; and
Examples of the SoTL and educational research that flow from students’ respones and engagement.
As well as visiting Hong Kong, the roadshow will be at these locations
