Join us for our second ACEN Critical Conversations, a platform for discussion around current issues facing WIL practitioners.
Assessment and WIL
In this conversation we will be joined by guest speakers and assessment experts Associate Professor Rola Ajjawi, Dr Joanna Tai and Professor David Boud from the Centre for Research in Assessment and Digital Learning (CRADLE) at Deakin University.
Assessment is a key driver of learning and can enable students to demonstrate skills, knowledge and achievements. It can also facilitate a process of reflection and support students make judgments about their learning process. The move to online WIL has challenged us to consider the way that we assess, how we assess and what we assess. In this session, discipline groups will be encouraged to discuss some of the challenges and strategies for assessing WIL.
Date: Thursday 21 May 2020, 11am -12pm AEST (check local time)
Login details will be provided to people who register.
