Benchmarking WIL Assessments

With the increasing recognition of value and positive impact of WIL on student experience and outcomes increasing, quality assurance in all facets of WIL has become a national priority focus. ACEN has initiated a CoP focussing on Success Measures in WIL at a national level. To compliment this discussion, at this ACEN Qld Chapter meeting we will be exploring the topic of academic assessment practices associated with WIL.

Across the breadth of WIL opportunities there is a wide variety of assessment strategies being implemented.

We will hear from some practitioners regarding their assessment design and exemplars drawn from the ACEN Case Studies.

Although academics are responsible for the ultimate design and delivery of academic assessment, all WIL stakeholders have contribution to this discussion.

There will be opportunity to discuss resources and strategies that may further support your WIL course assessment development and operationalisation.

We are also keen to hear about what assessment strategies you are currently utilising to garner a better understanding of where Qld practitioners are collectively in WIL academic assessment strategies.
