2016 Collaboration Award

Awarded to a partner organisation that is collaborating with a university to provide a sustained and significant contribution to WIL.

The 2016 winner is The Salvation Army, Eastern Division, nominated by Macquarie University.

The other finalists were:

  • Hunter New England Local Health District, Central Coast Local Health District and Mid North Coast Local Health District nominated by The University of Newcastle.
  • Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital Physiotherapy Department nominated by Curtin University.

2016 Local Hero Award

Awarded to a small-medium enterprise (SME; 0-199 employees) partner that is contributing to WIL beyond the expectations of the size of their organisation.

The 2016 winner is Bakehouse Studio nominated by RMIT University
