This quality framework provides a theoretical underpinning for understanding and assuring quality in WIL practices and experiences, extending existing frameworks to considerations of curriculum, outcomes, policies, and practices across an institution. The framework can be used in many ways to identify and collate evidence for a range of quality measures for both curriculum (process) and outcomes (product) across an institution. It can inform sector-wide and institutional benchmarking to implement quality improvements across all facets of WIL activities.
