Dr Theresa Winchester-Seeto is the Academic Director of Participation in the Faculty of Human Sciences and a senior lecturer in higher education development. She is an experienced practitioner who has taught in the higher education sector for over 20 years with specific emphasis on experiential learning in geology, education and museum studies. Over the past five years she has been working with the MQ Participation and Community Engagement (PACE) Initiative, providing scholarly underpinning for pedagogy in this area. Publications include papers in the area of WIL (assessment, role of the host supervisor, typology for WIL activities) and in graduate attributes. Dr Winchester-Seeto was part of a team awarded an ALTC Citation for Contributions to Student Learning in 2009 and part of a successful ALTC project in cross-cultural supervision of HDR students. She has successfully completed two internally funded grant projects in a related field and is currently involved in two OLT projects as a partner university.
