Dr Deborah Peach is currently Student Ombudsman at Queensland University of Technology. Prior to this, she was the Director of Work Integrated Learning in the Science and Engineering Faculty at QUT – leading an academic team responsible for large student cohorts in WIL units offered across multiple disciplines.

Dr Peach co-led the successful ALTC funded project that culminated in The WIL Report (2009); she is a recipient of a 2009 national citation for learning and teaching; was a 2009 Fellow of the University of Surrey, Centre for Professional Training and Education; and has received three QUT Vice Chancellor Performance Awards. She is also an Associate Editor of the Journal of Cooperative Education and Internships; on the Editorial Committee of the Journal of Teaching and Learning for Graduate Employability and the Asia Pacific Journal of Cooperative Education. Dr Peach was an executive member of ACEN and the elected Chair of ACEN Queensland.
