ACEN Research Scholarships
In 2013 ACEN is offering funding for two research grants of $10,000 each, to conduct an investigation into an area of Work Integrated Learning that addresses a theme identified through consultation with ACEN membership as part of the 2012 ACEN National Research Symposium.
2013 Special General Meeting
At the Special General Meeting, held by teleconference on June 5, the members passed the motions required to move ACEN from an incorporated association to a company limited by guarantee.
Documents will now be submitted to the Office of Fair Trading in Queensland (where ACEN is registered) and eventually to ASIC. When these processes have been successfully completed ACEN will be a company limited by guarantee. We will advise members of the outcome.
This has no impact on your membership status, fees or obligations.
ACEN Student Scholarships
Applications have now closed for five $1,500 scholarships for students undertaking WIL.
