The WA Chapter of the Australian Collaborative Education Network Ltd (ACEN) will conduct its 2017 election via online voting in the period between 2 and 9 October, 2017 with results announced at the AGM on 11 October, 2017.

Call for nominations

All positions on the ACEN WA Chapter Committee have been declared vacant, apart from that of Board Representative which is held by Sonia Ferns until October 2019. Nominations are called for up to 8 Committee members for the positions below. Successful candidates will serve on the Chapter Committee for a two-year term.

Positions available

  1. Chairperson,
  2. Deputy Chairperson,
  3. Secretary,
  4. And up to four General Members

Eligibility of candidates and endorsers

To be eligible for nomination and prospective election to the above positions, candidates must be registered on the ACEN Members’ Register prior to 5.00pm on 29 September, 2017, and have their nomination endorsed by two registered members. Registration status can be confirmed by the receipt of this nomination email on 19 September issued by ACEN administration to all registered members at their registered email address.

Nomination date and format

Nominations shall open on 19 September, 2017.

The receipt of nominations shall close at 5:00pm on 29 September, 2017.

Each nominee must click here to complete the online nomination form using the email account that was used to register as a member with ACEN.

Endorsement of nomination

For the nomination to be valid, it must be endorsed by two eligible members using this online endorsement form

Election date and format

An election will be held via online voting in the event that the number of nominations exceeds the number of vacancies.  All registered members will be emailed voting details on 2 October, 2017 and will have until 5:00pm, 9 October, 2017 to submit their votes. The results will be announced at the AGM on 11 October, 2017..

Annual General Meeting

The election results will be announced at the WA ACEN AGM on 11 October, 2017, at 4.00pm (AWST) which is being held by teleconference.
